Presence, Confidence and Connection Under Pressure
Beginning
As part of a major internal brand and strategy launch, senior leaders from across Starbucks were preparing to communicate a new vision and direction for the business to an audience of more than 1,500 partners. As well as working with Lily to curate their presentation content they worked with Ben to develop how they could be present and impactful on stage.
Middle
Working both one-to-one and with the wider group, Ben focused on the human side of presenting at scale as an executive team. Through practical work on breathing, vocal presence, body language and stagecraft, leaders explored how to manage nerves, hold the space with confidence, carry their content and build a strong connection with the audience.
End
Leaders left feeling inspired yet grounded, prepared and confident in their ability to communicate on a large stage. The team spirit going into the event was really positive.
