Book for our Taster Workshop:
The Art of Influence
Developing the leaders and managers people want to follow.
12:30 - 1:30 15 October 2026. On Zoom.
A practical insight into how leaders and managers can develop interpersonal communication skills to influence with authenticity, build stronger relationships and bring others with them.
Over this 1-hour taster we will introduce you to how influence is built through trust, credibility and the quality of our relationships rather than authority alone. We will share practical insight into the behaviours that strengthen collaboration, improve communication and help ideas gain traction across teams and organisations.
This taster session is a flavour of what can happen over a half or full day workshop, where we combine behavioural insight with practical tools that leaders and managers can begin applying straight away, helping them communicate with confidence, build stronger rapport and adapt more effectively to different people and situations.
Influence is not a set of tactics. It is the result of how present, grounded and genuinely attentive we are to the people in front of us. Ben's work develops those qualities from the inside out, through the body, the voice and the behaviours that build real connection.
This is your chance to experience what that looks and feels like, before bringing it to the people who need it most.
Who this is for:
Heads of Learning & Development, People Development, HR, Culture Change, Comms and Talent
Senior leaders responsible for leadership capability and communication
Those exploring training that develops how leaders show up, not just what they say
This session was designed as a live insight into our approach, offering a practical experience of the work and its relevance within a leadership and organisational context. You'll leave with a clear sense of what the work does, how it feels in practice and how it could work for your people.
What participants will leave with:
Greater awareness of positive influencing styles
Techniques to help build rapport
An understanding of ways to deal with difficult conversations
Why it matters in business:
Leaders and managers are required to make things happen, and this often needs influencing over instruction.
Too often managers and leaders are promoted, due to their technical expertise, knowledge and ability, to positions where a whole new communication skillset is required. It's assumed the skills come with the role or are confused with authority. But without support and training on how to master these skills, inefficiencies creep in. Decisions stall, ideas fail to gain traction, relationships become transactional
Whether it’s their team, clients or board, others are involved either in decision making or in enacting of those decisions. Leaders and managers who place who they are influencing front of mind, do it with intention and tact and therefore build connection and trust.
