Storytelling for Leadership
Use the skills of Storytelling to create and convey a congruent message about who you are, what you do and what your organisation is.
We encourage individuals to observe their own style of speaking and presenting in comparison to each other. They will better understand the strengths and elements of their own identity, and how to best use their unique voice and personal impact, to enhance communication and leadership.
Communicate information and plans effectively and engagingly, build trust, empathy and respect and so be in a better position to influence and motivate others. Storytelling offers leaders and decision makers a simple and effective process with which to identify why and how change can happen, who it will affect and benefit and what challenges will need to be faced.
Applying the techniques of storytelling ensures that messages are heard, held and acted on with a greater sense of importance. If you look at something with storytelling it aids its understanding and embodiment, as it shows what is happening and why.
How storytelling can benefit your school or place of education:
Are your pupils excited about reading and books?
Do your teachers embrace the opportunity of taking an assembly?
Looking for an excellent Book Week activity?
Have you got a theme that needs exploring?
Do all your pupils write with enthusiasm?
Looking for a new way of creating a play?
Need a storyteller who is great with Nursery through to KS3?
