Change and Organisational Storytelling
Stories and narratives can be used within business and organisations to actively explore, plan and then communicate change; to make values and visions count, to make plans and changes happen.
By looking at a potential change as a story it reveals, in a transparent, interactive and easily comprehended manner, why it needs to happen; how it will happen; what challenges and pitfalls need to be faced; what the desired outcome or benefits will look like and who will be involved and affected. This story can then be easily shared, understood, bought into and rolled out, and most importantly adapted and evolved as situations or challenges demand.
By providing techniques to find and identify the stories, narratives, perspectives and timelines of your company, we enable workshop participants to actively understand and visualise the initiative, purpose and future of the change. The training enables them to understand their role in the development and strategy of the company, (to be part of a team or community working collaboratively) and are therefore better able to evolve, implement and communicate change.
Why Storytelling could be of benefit to your Organisation:
Do staff understand your brand values and identity, why you have them
and how they benefit the company?
Do staff understand the need for and benefits
of change, and therefore embrace it?
Do your away-days teach valuable skills
whilst being fun, creative, challenging and different?
Can staff confidently
improvise and be sensitive to different audiences and adapt their presentations
and communications accordingly?
Do staff have an active interest in the
stories related to your company, clients and products?
Do staff engage confidently
and easily with clients and colleagues?
Do staff contribute to creating
a relationship between your company, employees and clients?
