Situation:
The Mott MacDonald Group is a management, engineering and development consultancy serving the public and private sectors world-wide. We were invited to work with senior management within Management, Economics and Consultancy, to help them with closing sales and personal impact.
Solution:
Over a full day of training, 5 teams of three created joint presentations as a means to put straight into practice the process being learnt. They looked specifically at negotiation, knowledge sharing, receiving and understanding information, body language, speaking without notes, engaging an audience and giving and receiving feedback.
Results:
The day was a resounding success, with many ideas discussed on how to incorporate storytelling into other areas with MottMacDonald. It was felt that information explored and shared in this way was more succinct, memorable and pertinent to the audience and therefore would be of great value to other teams and departments.
